Unbelievable but true—until now, the world had no dedicated Friet (fries, chips) museum! That makes the Bruges Friet Museum the first and only museum entirely devoted to fries, celebrating their rich history and cultural significance.
Alongside the world-famous Belgian chocolate, Belgian frites are one of the country’s most iconic delicacies, perfectly embodying the Belgian love for good food and a great lifestyle. Over the years, fries have conquered taste buds across the globe, becoming a beloved treat enjoyed by young and old in nearly every country. And let’s not forget—we have every reason to be proud, because fries were born in Belgium!
