Welcome to Horizon: a holiday paradise on the Flemish Coast!

Horizon, our cozy accommodation for youth and groups, is a stone's throw from the sea and easily accessible via a convenient tunnel. Our accommodation - each with its own multipurpose hall and a special room for supervisors - is simple and well-maintained. The shared gardens are generous, offering each group a little piece of holiday paradise in a safe and green environment.

At Horizon Youth and Holiday Centre, you are not just another guest. We want you to feel at home,  welcoming you with open arms in a cosy atmosphere where homeliness and liveliness take central stage. So you can fully enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Be enchanted by the golden sunrise and sunset, feel the salty sea breeze, experience the soft sand and have fun in the dunes. A natural environment begging to be discovered!

From dunes and sea to the large grass field: for children, our youth centre is a true play paradise. Playing football, racing go-carts, making new friends... Here they enjoy the freedom to romp around and simply have fun.

Not to mention our delicious meals! Our cuisine is varied and adapted to different requirements, from allergies to halal and vegetarian. But at Horizon, it's not just about eating, sleeping and playing. It is about a total experience that will create fond memories for years to come.

    Lots of advantages and so familiar

    BaMo Moorsele is a warm-hearted, large school that pays great attention to looked-after children and children of non-native parents. For us, the Horizon holiday centre has been the place for unforgettable school trips for ten years. What makes Horizon so special? The positive atmosphere, excellent follow-up, close to dunes and the sea, excellent accommodation, and plenty of room to play. Every year we enjoy fun activities like the Duinenspel, Katia the Sea Witch, and a visit to Sealife in Blankenberge. Horizon makes every trip special, and we get to know our pupils in a unique way.

    Horizon remains our dream location!

    For the second year, we enjoyed organising our dance camp here. The friendly support of the Horizon team, the safe access to beach, dunes and sea, the excellent catering that takes into account various dietary needs, smooth communication and the handy dancehall make this holiday centre definitely our favourite. We are already enthusiastically looking forward to next year, full of new memories and dancing fun at this fantastic place!

    Amazing memories!

    Our first time at Horizon with the children of our first and second grade still tops my list of the best weeks ever (and that's saying a lot after more than a decade and many school trips).

    It's funny, because all those reasons Horizon cites - the location, the meals, the domain itself, the friendliness - are exactly why I put Horizon on my list year after year when we had to decide where to go. The team at Horizon can count on all those positive memories to live on.

    One of the best spaghettis ever eaten.

    I would like to get in touch about my son Kobe's ‘peace classes’ at ‘the Duinpieper’, with his school ‘VBS de tandem’. He was super excited about the delicious vegetarian meals, especially the alternative to minced meat in spaghetti. We also try to prepare tasty and varied meals at home, but it seems you guys have a kitchen secret we would like to know more about. Can you share which vegetarian alternative you used and the preparation method? Kobe would love to try this at home.

    Also, my appreciation for the accommodation, Kobe enjoyed his stay immensely.
