At SEA LIFE Blankenberge, you take a fascinating journey of discovery through the mysterious underwater world. More than 50 aquariums show the wondrous underwater life from the Amazon River to the North Sea, and many other rivers, seas and oceans. From cute clownfish, a magical ocean tunnel, infamous piranhas to a beautiful sea turtle with a disability - you'll find it all at SEA LIFE!

Seal sanctuary

SEA LIFE enjoys international fame for taking care of stranded seals. The seal clinic and associated quarantine areas have been receiving and caring for these animals since 1998, before releasing them back into the sea. You will learn about feeding and care techniques during the presentation. In the large outdoor area, you will also meet crazy Humboldt penguins, playful otters and impressive sea lions.

Classroom ‘Beyond The Surface’
There is also the possibility of booking a fun educational package ‘Beyond the Surface’. You will dive underwater together and learn about different types of animals, how they reproduce, what they eat, how they live. You will test your knowledge with a quiz. Furthermore, the importance of sorting and the impact of pollution on the living conditions of animals in the sea will be discussed. This educational package will be tailored to the age of the pupils. There will be puzzles, quizzes, microscopes, water tests, explanations about the different animals, our quarantines, filters, etc.
Rocky's Climbing Adventure
With spectacular views! Have fun with the whole school. Climb the observation towers, jump into the water and come face to face with impressive sea lions, crazy penguins and playful otters.
