De Slierberg in De Haan is the ideal destination for schools and teachers looking for an adventurous, free outdoor activity during their sea classes. Located in the middle of the beautiful dune forest between De Haan and Wenduine, this play area offers a unique environment where children can play and discover in abundance.
The play forest features a ropes course, a place to build huts and, as a highlight, an impressive slide of no less than 18 metres. Children can enjoy themselves for hours by climbing, sliding and letting their creativity run wild. In addition, the surrounding forest area offers numerous hiking trails inviting for short or longer nature walks, perfect for exploring the dune area.
Slierberg is just a short walk from the dunes and the sea, making it the ideal location for a coastal nature experience. Moreover, it is a perfect budget-friendly alternative for schools and groups, as it is completely free of charge. For those who want even more, a visit to Center Parcs can easily be combined with this outing, giving your students an even more complete experience at the seaside.
In addition, Slierberg is easily accessible by tram, making it ideal for a hassle-free day trip. In short, Slierberg offers schools a unique, educational and adventurous experience in nature during their stay at the coast.
