Museum of local history Turkeyenhof

Love diving into history? Then visit the charming Turkeyenhof. This polder farmhouse from 1737 gives you a glimpse into the life of the people of that time. You will discover how they lived and worked.

What can you still find there? A collection of craft tools from times gone by. And an impressive collection of shells, fossils and even mammoth remains. All fished up by Flemish fishermen over the years.

The farm is also home to the local history society (Ter Cuere) and serves as a historical centre. In summer, we treat you to (free) folk performances and folk dance evenings in the atmospheric farm garden. Ambiance guaranteed!
